Dhamra Port Company Limited (DPCL), a fully owned subsidiary of APSEZ, on Friday announced a historic milestone of achieving the highest-ever monthly cargo handling of 4.22 Million Metric Tonnes (MMT) in February 2024, surpassing the previous record of 3.96 MMT in November 2023. Additionally, DPCL achieved the highest ever dry cargo volume of 3.78 MMT, surpassing the previous best of 3.57 MMT also in November 2023. This remarkable success underscores the port’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and successfully managing substantial trade volumes.

This achievement is attributed to the relentless efforts of the port’s employees and the unwavering support from customers, service providers, district administration, and statutory authorities. Their dedication to excellence has been instrumental in reaching this significant milestone.

Dhamra Port expresses heartfelt gratitude to government bodies, including Railway, Custom, Immigration, District administration, and other stakeholders, for their trust and collaboration. The strong partnership with customers has played a pivotal role in achieving this milestone.

Despite facing challenges such as fewer working days in February and certain unprecedented events, the team at Dhamra Port ensured the swift restoration of operations, demonstrating remarkable resilience.

DPCL CEO Devendra Thakar expressed his gratitude, stating, “This record-breaking achievement is a result of collective efforts from our dedicated employees, the support of the Government machinery, stakeholders, and customers. Despite challenges, our commitment to excellence remains unwavering.”
