TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata
Power and the Government of Odisha, organized a Business Associates Meet on
20th February 2026 in Bhubaneswar, bringing together suppliers, manufacturers
and service business associates from across India, including enterprises
registered with Odisha MSMEs. The initiative aimed at reinforcing
relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and creating a seamless and
resilient supply chain ecosystem between TPCODL and its business associates.
The programme was graced by Chief of Odisha Distribution Business Gajanan
Kale; TPCODL CEO Arvind Singh; CFO T&D Sanjeev Gupta; and COO Dushyant
Tyagi. The leadership underscored the critical importance of quality, ethics,
timely delivery of services, knowledge sharing, competitive pricing and
enduring partnerships in strengthening the supply chain. They also encouraged
business associates to establish manufacturing facilities in Odisha for
commonly used materials such as transformers, cables, conductors, poles, meters
and meter boxes, assuring sustained business opportunities in the years ahead.
The meet witnessed the participation of the senior leadership team from
multiple functions, who outlined their expectations and operational priorities.
Teams from Projects, Engineering, Quality, Automation and Safety highlighted
the need for enhanced product quality, strict adherence to delivery schedules
and uncompromising workplace safety practices.
Deliberations focused on key strategic priorities including reinforced
safety protocols, statutory compliance, ethical business conduct, high quality
standards and a strong consumer-centric approach to operations and service
delivery. As part of the programme, 24 business associates were honoured with
awards for their outstanding performance during the 2025–26 period.
TPCODL hosts its Annual Business Associates Meet as a structured platform
for meaningful engagement between business partners and the senior leadership
team. The forum helps nurture strong and cordial relationships beyond routine
transactions and provides an open environment for associates to share feedback,
insights and suggestions. Such collaborative engagement enhances productivity,
builds a shared sense of purpose and enables joint problem-solving that drives
organizational growth. Business associates also offered valuable
recommendations to make the ecosystem more efficient and responsive.
The participants expressed appreciation for the consistent support and
cooperation extended by all functions during material delivery and execution
processes. They also conveyed gratitude to the TPCODL leadership for fostering
a collaborative, transparent and supportive business environment that promotes
long-term partnership and mutual growth.
