Subhadra Yojana
registrations reopened across Odisha from April 1, 2026, offering a fresh
opportunity for eligible women to enrol under the state government’s flagship
financial assistance programme. The initiative aims to expand the scheme’s
outreach and ensure that women who could not apply earlier are able to access
its benefits, reinforcing the state’s focus on inclusive economic empowerment.
According to official
guidelines, the scheme is open only to women residents of Odisha who have not
previously applied. Applicants must fall within the age group of 21 to 60
years. Authorities have clarified that those who have already submitted
applications in earlier phases are not eligible to apply again, as the fresh
registration drive is specifically intended to cover left-out beneficiaries.
The application
process has been designed to be accessible through both online and offline
modes. Women can submit forms at Common Service Centres and Ama Seva Kendras,
while free application forms are also available at Anganwadi Centres and CDPO
offices to ensure last-mile accessibility, particularly in rural areas.
Applicants opting for
online registration must provide essential personal details including Aadhaar
number, address and bank account information. Supporting documents such as
Aadhaar card, address proof, bank passbook, passport-size photograph and income
proof, wherever applicable, are required during submission. Completion of e-KYC
verification through an Aadhaar-linked mobile number is mandatory, after which
applicants receive a reference ID to track their application status.
Officials emphasised
that accurate information and proper documentation are critical to avoid
rejection during verification. Applicants have been advised to ensure that
their bank accounts are Aadhaar-linked and that all details match official
records before submission.
With the reopening of
registrations, the Odisha government aims to widen the coverage of the Subhadra
Yojana and strengthen financial security among eligible women, advancing the
state’s broader agenda of social welfare and economic inclusion.
