Reliance Jio on Wednesday announced the launch of a new Truly Unlimited
5G data pack priced at just ₹15, offering subscribers 24 hours of high-speed
connectivity as the telecom operator seeks to make next-generation mobile
internet more accessible and affordable.
The new one-day data pack is aimed at heavy internet users who require
high-capacity connectivity for activities such as 4K video streaming, online
gaming, large file downloads, cloud backups and remote working. The pack offers
unlimited 5G data for 24 hours, allowing eligible subscribers to make extensive
use of Jio's True 5G network without worrying about conventional data limits,
the company said.
The ₹15 offering is particularly targeted at digital
consumers seeking additional data on demand for bandwidth-intensive activities, including streaming live sports and
high-definition content, playing multiplayer games, uploading large files and
downloading software updates.
With the new pack, users can also turn their 5G-enabled smartphones into
mobile hotspots to support internet connectivity on laptops and tablets, making
it useful for professionals working remotely and those requiring uninterrupted
access to online services while on the move.
The launch adds another affordable option to Jio's data recharge
portfolio, catering to subscribers whose data requirements may increase
temporarily due to work, entertainment or other digital activities.
The pack is valid for one day, or 24 hours, and is available across all
telecom circles in the country. Subscribers can recharge through the MyJio app,
Jio's official website, Reliance Retail outlets, general trade point-of-sale
outlets, third-party recharge platforms and the enterprise Jio.com platform.
The ₹15 Truly Unlimited 5G Data Pack is now available
nationwide through digital and offline recharge channels, the company said.
