NALCO pays record ₹1,083 crore dividend to Centre for FY26

Navratna PSU National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) has paid a record dividend of ₹2,112.12 crore for the financial year 2025-26 (FY26), including ₹1,083.06 crore to the Government of India, the company said on Monday.

The total dividend represents 230 per cent on the company's equity shares of ₹5 each and is the highest-ever dividend paid by NALCO, according to the company.

NALCO Chairman and Managing Director Brijendra Pratap Singh handed over a dividend cheque of ₹1,083.06 crore to Union Minister of Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy during an investor roadshow on Angul Aluminium Park held in Kolkata on Monday.

The event was attended by Keshav Chandra, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, along with senior officials from NALCO and the Ministry.

NALCO Director (Production & Technical) Jagdish Arora and Director (Finance) Abhay Kumar Behuria were also present on the occasion.

NALCO reported a robust financial performance in FY26, registering a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹5,815.76 crore.

During the year, the company declared and paid a total dividend of ₹2,112.12 crore, comprising three interim dividends and a final dividend. Of the total payout, ₹1,083.06 crore was paid to the Government of India.
