Neuberg Diagnostics
has entered into a strategic joint venture with Bhubaneswar-based ProLife
Diagnostics to expand access to advanced, affordable and quality diagnostic
services across Odisha, with the new entity NeubergProLife planning to
establish 10 integrated diagnostics and wellness centres and more than 100
satellite laboratories and sample collection centres across the state within
the next two years.
The partnership
brings together Neuberg Diagnostics’ pan-India scale, advanced diagnostic
capabilities, high-end technology, AI-enabled IT platforms and quality systems
with ProLife Diagnostics’ established presence and understanding of Odisha’s
healthcare ecosystem.
NeubergProLife will
offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, covering routine and
specialised pathology, radiology, preventive wellness and advanced diagnostic
areas such as genomics, metabolomics, proteomics, digital pathology and
AI-enabled advanced radiology, senior officials of the company said here on
Thursday.
The proposed
integrated diagnostics and wellness centres will come up in Bhubaneswar,
Cuttack, Rourkela, Berhampur, Sambalpur, Puri, Balasore, Bhadrak, Baripada and
Jharsuguda.
The planned
hub-and-spoke network is aimed at taking specialised diagnostic services closer
to patients in Tier-2, Tier-3 and emerging markets, potentially reducing the
need for people to travel to larger cities for advanced investigations.

pan-India expansion journey, with significant potential to improve access to
quality and advanced diagnostics beyond the major urban centres,” said Dr GSK

The joint venture
also comes at a time when diagnostics is increasingly being positioned as an
important component of preventive and personalised healthcare, with advanced
testing technologies enabling earlier identification of disease risks.

The planned expansion
is expected to create a broad diagnostics network linking integrated centres
with satellite laboratories and sample collection facilities, enabling the
delivery of services across multiple geographies within the state.
