makers of the much-awaited animated feature Mahaprabhu Jagannath
received a major spiritual endorsement after meeting renowned Yoga Guru Baba
Ramdev and seeking his blessings ahead of the film's grand theatrical release
on July 17, 2026.
Expressing
his admiration for the project, Baba Ramdev hailed Lord Jagannath as the very
soul of Sanatan culture and praised the filmmakers for creating an inspiring
cinematic experience for children and families.

as a wholesome family entertainer, Mahaprabhu Jagannath
combines cutting-edge animation with rich cultural storytelling. The film
builds on the popularity of the acclaimed animated television series Jay
Jagannath and aims to introduce younger audiences to the timeless
legacy of Lord Jagannath through an engaging cinematic experience.
The
film is set for a massive release across more than 300 screens in Hindi, Odia and Telugu,
following a strategic collaboration between Ele Animations Pvt. Ltd. and Cinepolis. In
addition to its pan-India rollout, the animated spectacle will also release
internationally across the United States, Canada and Europe, taking Odisha's revered
spiritual heritage to global audiences.

under the banner of Ele Animations Pvt. Ltd., the film is directed by Shripad Warkhedkar,
with screenplay and dialogues by Pallavi Sharma and music composed by Aviral Kumar.
Adding to the buzz, the film's trailer was unveiled before an audience of over 10,000 devotees in the presence of spiritual leader Indresh Upadhyaya, generating tremendous excitement among devotees and cinema lovers alike.
