The four-day Earth Venture Camp for neurodivergent students, organised by KiiT-IS SEN Globe, concluded on a vibrant and meaningful note, with the final day coinciding with the celebration of International Women’s Day. The event brought together students, parents, educators and staff members in a joyful and inspiring celebration of inclusion, creativity and empowerment.

The celebration was graced by the presence of the Honourable Founder of KIIT, KISS and KIMS, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, who lauded the dedication, resilience and strength of the women associated with the SEN Globe community. He acknowledged the tireless efforts of mothers, educators and team members who continuously nurture, support and empower neurodivergent children. Emphasising their invaluable role, he noted that their compassion, patience and unwavering commitment form the foundation of an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Addressing the gathering, Chairperson Dr. Mona Lisa Bal reflected on the journey of womanhood and motherhood, highlighting both the challenges and the immense inner strength that define these roles. She spoke about how being a mother and a woman often requires extraordinary patience, courage and compassion, yet remains one of the most powerful and inspiring forces in shaping lives and building brighter futures. On the occasion, three dedicated support staff members were also felicitated in recognition of their invaluable contributions and quiet yet impactful dedication to the institution.

The Earth Venture Camp itself was conceptualised as an engaging and experiential learning journey for the students. Over the past three days, children actively participated in a wide range of activities including art and craft, vocational skill development, creative expression, sensory-based learning sessions and collaborative tasks. These activities were thoughtfully designed to encourage confidence, independence and teamwork among the students while nurturing their creativity and practical skills.

The initiative also underscored the importance of neurodiversity and special education by creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every child’s unique abilities were recognised, celebrated and encouraged through innovative learning practices.

The final day concluded with a lively fun fair, colourful cultural performances and an exhibition of the children’s creative works, where parents and guests had the opportunity to witness the remarkable talent, enthusiasm and dedication of the students.

The event came to a heartwarming close as the entire community gathered to celebrate not only the achievements and progress of the children but also the spirit of empowerment, inclusion and compassion that defined the occasion, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride, gratitude and hope for the future.
