Fuel availability
across Odisha continues to remain stable and uninterrupted, with Public Sector
Oil Marketing Companies ensuring seamless supply of Petrol (MS), Diesel (HSD)
and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) across the State, despite prevailing global
uncertainties impacting the oil and gas sector.
The Public Sector Oil
Marketing Companies — Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IndianOil), Bharat
Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation
Limited (HPCL) — have confirmed that fuel dispensing operations are continuing
smoothly across all retail outlets in Odisha, without any restrictions and in
full compliance with prescribed safety and operational norms.
Officials stated that
the entire fuel supply ecosystem, including terminals, depots, LPG bottling
plants and retail outlets, remains fully operational and robust. Adequate
stocks of petroleum products have been maintained across the supply chain, with
continuous replenishment ensuring that genuine consumer demand is met
efficiently and without disruption.
LPG distribution for domestic consumers is also progressing normally across the State, with regular deliveries being maintained without any delay or constraint. Logistics coordination and stock positioning are being closely monitored by the oil marketing companies to ensure uninterrupted energy access to citizens at all times.
The overall fuel supply situation in Odisha remains stable and under constant review, with authorities reiterating that there is no cause for concern. Citizens have been advised to maintain normal purchasing behaviour and avoid panic buying, while relying solely on official communications from oil marketing companies for verified updates on fuel availability.
