Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, marked a defining international milestone as it unveiled its fine jewellery collection for the first time at Paris Couture Week, partnering with celebrated couturier Gaurav Gupta as the official jewellery partner. The showcase in Paris positioned Indriya at the intersection of high jewellery and global couture, carrying the artistry of Indian craftsmanship to one of fashion’s most revered platforms.

Exploring contrasts such as structure and fluidity, strength and grace, form and formlessness, the couture narrative found a natural extension in Indriya’s design language. Anchored in India’s rich cultural and artistic heritage, the jewellery echoed Gupta’s sculptural aesthetic, emerging as luminous accents that moved seamlessly with the garments and elevated their architectural silhouettes.

Indriya’s pieces, led by diamonds and vibrant gemstones and sculpted in gold, were conceived as integral elements of the couture rather than mere adornments. Each creation acted as a point of light, connecting body, craft and couture, while reinforcing the dialogue between tradition and modernity that defined the collection.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Gaurav Gupta said that jewellery, for him, is an extension of the body’s inner geometry rather than an embellishment. He described the collection, titled The Divine Androgyne, as a vessel of energy, memory and quiet power, adding that Indriya’s balance of heritage and restraint instinctively complemented his couture without overpowering it.

Shantiswarup Panda, Head of Marketing and Visual Merchandising at Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, said the brand takes pride in translating the nuances of Indian art, craft, architecture and culture into a refined design vocabulary. He noted that the partnership with Gaurav Gupta was an effort to present India’s timeless concept of duality to the world in a distinctive manner at Paris Couture Week.

Abhishek Rastogi, Head of Design at Indriya, highlighted that the jewellery was carefully curated within Gaurav Gupta’s creative universe to harmonise with bold silhouettes and flowing forms. He said each piece brought together precision, craftsmanship and artistic expression, reinforcing Indriya’s commitment to design excellence on a global stage.
