Jagatsinghpur emerged
champions of the 5th edition of the JSW Utkal Cricket Tournament for visually
impaired boys after defeating Balasore in an exciting final held at KIIS
University, Bhubaneswar.
Organised by Niyati
Udyog Private Limited as part of its annual tradition to mark the birthday of
Parth Jindal, the tournament brought together 20 teams from across Odisha in
district-level knockout matches, celebrating talent, resilience and the spirit
of inclusive sports.
The final encounter
witnessed spirited performances from both teams before Jagatsinghpur sealed the
title with an impressive display of skill and teamwork.
The tournament once again highlighted the
growing popularity of blind cricket in the state and offered a competitive
platform for visually impaired players to showcase their abilities.
Regional Manager
Suman Saha and Director of Niyati Udyog Govind Dorwal attended the event and
applauded the participants for their dedication, sportsmanship and inspiring
performances throughout the tournament.
