BHUBANESWAR, APRIL 30, 2026

The Odisha government's fresh registration drive for its flagship women-centric welfare initiative, Subhadra Yojana, will conclude on Thursday (April 30), marking the final opportunity for eligible women to enrol under the scheme for the current phase.

Women who were unable to apply earlier for any reason have been urged to submit their applications exclusively through the official Subhadra Portal before the deadline expires today.

Under the scheme, women aged between 21 and 60 years as on April 1, 2026, are eligible to register. However, those who had already applied during previous phases are not required to apply again, as duplicate applications will not be accepted.

Selected beneficiaries will receive financial assistance of Rs 10,000 annually, disbursed in two equal instalments of Rs 5,000 each. The support will continue from the financial year 2026-27 until the completion of the scheme period, providing sustained financial assistance to women across the state.

To ensure seamless access, fresh applications can be submitted online through Common Service Centres (CSC) and Ama Seva Kendras (ASK) via the Subhadra Portal. Besides, application forms are being provided free of cost at all Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) and Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) offices.

The state government has appealed to all eligible women who have not yet registered to complete the process without delay and take advantage of the transformative welfare scheme aimed at strengthening women's financial independence and social security.
