NTPC Northern
Regional Headquarters (NRHQ), Lucknow, successfully concluded its Anchoring and
Public Speaking Workshop at NTPC Dadri, marking the culmination of a
region-wide initiative aimed at nurturing confident and articulate young
communicators. The series of workshops, conducted across NTPC Unchahar, Rihand
and Dadri, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 90 students drawn
from various NTPC Northern Region project schools.
The workshop
journey began at NTPC Unchahar on October 30-31, 2025, continued at NTPC Rihand
on November 3-4, 2025, and concluded with an engaging two-day session at NTPC
Dadri on January 15-16, 2026. Designed to enhance communication skills at a
formative stage, the programme focused on anchoring techniques, effective
public speaking and creative self-expression.
The closing
ceremony at NTPC Dadri was graced by S. N. Panigrahi, Chief General Manager
(HR), who underscored the vital role of public speaking in building confidence,
sharpening communication abilities and unlocking creativity among students. He
lauded the initiative for providing a strong platform to help young learners
express themselves with clarity and conviction.
The
programme also saw the presence of Rahul Sharma, AGM (HR), and Amit Kumar
Behera, DGM (Corporate Communication). Coordinated by Radhika Gupta, Senior
Manager (HR), NTPC Dadri, the workshops were conducted by The Lead Navigators
and featured hands-on sessions with practical demonstrations on articulation,
expression and voice modulation.
