Reinforcing its commitment to community
development, NTPC Bongaigaon extended meaningful educational support to
Parkhijora L.P. School at Salakati in Kokrajhar on the eve of the 77th Republic
Day. As part of its ongoing social responsibility initiatives, the project
distributed educational kits along with nutritional food packets to young
students, spreading cheer and encouragement among the children.
Arnab
Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, led the initiative in the presence of
Kasturi Maitra, President of the Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club.
More than
100 educational kits were handed over to students, aimed at supporting their
academic journey and fostering a positive learning environment.
Interacting
warmly with the children, Maitra motivated them to remain focused on their
studies and aspire for a bright and successful future, underscoring the
transformative power of education.
The
initiative was met with smiles and heartfelt appreciation from the students,
who expressed their happiness and gratitude for the thoughtful gesture. The
school’s Principal and faculty members also lauded NTPC Bongaigaon for its
sustained support and concern for rural education.
