Reinforcing
its commitment to employee well-being and preventive healthcare, NTPC Northern
Region Headquarters (NRHQ) organised a two-day Naturopathy Workshop from
January 27 to 28, aimed at promoting a healthy, balanced, and stress-free
lifestyle among employees, members of Uttara Club, and their family members.
The workshop
focused on the principles of natural healing, preventive care, and stress
management through non-invasive and holistic therapies. Designed to address the
growing challenges of lifestyle-related ailments, the sessions underscored the
importance of integrating naturopathy into everyday life for long-term physical
and mental well-being.
Renowned
faculty Beni Kinha from Nectar Vector delivered an engaging and insightful
presentation on human anatomy, preventive healthcare, and the role of
naturopathy and Ayurveda in managing stress and enhancing overall health. His
session drew enthusiastic participation and sparked meaningful interactions,
reflecting the keen interest of attendees in alternative and natural healthcare
approaches.
Participants
were introduced to a wide range of practices including yoga, diet therapy,
hydrotherapy, breathing techniques, and lifestyle modification strategies.
Practical demonstrations and interactive discussions enabled attendees to better
understand how these methods can help manage common lifestyle disorders such as
stress, obesity, diabetes, and hypertension.
The workshop
concluded with a valedictory session where S. N. Panigrahi, Chief General
Manager (HR), expressed his appreciation to the faculty and organisers for the
successful conduct of the programme. He also emphasised the need to organise
more such initiatives in the future to extend their benefits to a wider
audience.
