NTPC Renewable Energy signs Term Sheet with Greenko ZeroC to supply power for its Green Ammonia Plant

NEW DELHI, MAR 29, 2023

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, has signed Term Sheet with Greenko ZeroC Pvt Ltd (a Greenko Group Company) to supply 1300 MW renewable power round-the-clock Greenko’s upcoming Green Ammonia Plant at Kakinada.

The agreement between the two companies is one of the world’s single largest contracts for supply of round-the-clock renewable supply for an industrial client.

The Term Sheet was signed by NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd Chief General Manager Rajiv Gupta and Greenko Group Founder & Joint MD Mahesh Kolli at NTPC office in New Delhi on Tuesday.

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd CEO Mohit Bhargava, Greenko Founder & MD Anil Chalamalasetty and other senior officials from NTPC REL were also present on the occasion.
