Chief Minister Mohan
Charan Majhi on Thursday convened a crucial meeting with all ministers at Lok
Seva Bhawan here to discuss preparations for the upcoming second anniversary of
the Odisha government, scheduled to be observed on June 12, 2026.
The high-level
meeting focused on finalising programmes to commemorate the milestone and
reviewing the annual report cards of various departments. The Chief Minister
underlined the importance of effectively presenting the government’s achievements
before the people, drawing parallels with the first anniversary celebrations
during which Prime Minister Narendra Modi had unveiled the government’s report
card.
Detailed discussions were held on strategies to showcase key developmental initiatives, welfare schemes and the performance of different departments over the past year. Ministers shared updates on their respective portfolios, while the Chief Minister stressed the need for greater accountability, transparency and people-centric governance.
The state government is planning a comprehensive public outreach campaign to highlight its achievements during the second year in office, reaffirming its commitment to progress, stability and inclusive development. Officials said the anniversary programmes will feature both completed projects and upcoming initiatives aimed at further accelerating Odisha’s growth trajectory.
