Reaffirming its commitment to operational excellence, financial sustainability, and the growth of Odisha's tourism sector, the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) has contributed a dividend of ₹1.17 crore to the Government of Odisha for the Financial Year 2024–25.

The dividend cheque was presented by Shri Deepankar Mohapatra, Managing Director, OTDC, to Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Women & Child Development, Mission Shakti and Tourism, Pravati Parida, in the presence of senior officials of the Corporation. The dividend reflects OTDC's strong financial performance and its continued contribution to the State's economic growth and tourism development.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister commended OTDC for its consistent efforts in strengthening Odisha's tourism infrastructure and enhancing service delivery. She noted that a financially sound and professionally managed tourism corporation plays a crucial role in improving visitor experiences, generating livelihood opportunities, supporting local economies, and advancing the State's long-term tourism vision.

OTDC continues to play a pivotal role in Odisha's tourism ecosystem through the operation of 14 Panthanivas hotel units, authentic Odia cuisine restaurants, and a luxury tourist transport fleet catering to the needs of both domestic and international travellers. The Corporation also operates an Air Ticketing Division that provides comprehensive travel services, while its Engineering Division is responsible for the planning, execution, upgradation, and maintenance of tourism infrastructure and facilities across the State.

Looking ahead, OTDC has charted an ambitious roadmap for the next three years, focusing on increasing turnover and profitability through infrastructure upgradation, enhanced operational efficiency, diversification of tourism-related services, and continuous improvement in service quality across its Panthanivas network and other operational units. The Corporation remains committed to supporting the Government of Odisha's vision of positioning the State as a premier tourism destination.
