NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 1, 2026

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the four-day Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam here on November 2, bringing together representatives from over 130 countries, more than 40 ministers and global clean energy industry leaders to explore investment opportunities, technological innovations and international partnerships.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the summit at around 4.30 pm and address the gathering, according to an official statement.

Being held from November 2 to 5 under the theme ‘Invest. Innovate. Inspire.’, Bharat RE 2026 is envisaged as a global platform to promote clean energy investments, strengthen industry engagement and facilitate technology partnerships.

The summit will witness participation from nine country partners -- Australia, Denmark, the European Union, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Thirteen states and Union Territories, including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, will showcase their renewable energy potential, investment opportunities and manufacturing capabilities.

The event will be organised alongside the ninth session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly and the fourth International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH), bringing three major clean energy platforms together to strengthen global cooperation and accelerate the transition towards sustainable energy.

While Bharat RE 2026 will focus on investments, industry engagement and technology partnerships across the clean energy sector, the ISA Assembly will deliberate on advancing international cooperation in solar energy, particularly in financing and institutional capacity building.

The International Conference on Green Hydrogen, meanwhile, will focus on emerging technologies, investment opportunities and strategies for scaling up green hydrogen deployment.

Building on the legacy of RE-INVEST, India's flagship renewable energy investment summit, Bharat RE 2026 seeks to provide an expanded platform for global engagement across the clean energy ecosystem.

The four-day event will feature plenary sessions, ministerial discussions, CEO roundtables and country- and state-level sessions, besides business-to-business, business-to-government and government-to-government engagements aimed at facilitating investments, forging partnerships and promoting project development.

The accompanying expo will feature more than 400 exhibitors showcasing advanced technologies, India's manufacturing capabilities and innovative clean energy solutions across solar and wind power, green hydrogen, energy storage and other emerging sectors. The large-scale international participation is expected to provide opportunities for policymakers, investors, financial institutions and industry leaders to exchange ideas, explore collaborations and identify pathways for accelerating clean energy deployment.
