Quiet
Excellence: 52 Reflections on Work, Faith and What Truly Matters, authored by
Rajneesh Jain, President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Reliance Jio
Infocomm Limited, was formally launched at a special event held at the India
International Centre (IIC), New Delhi, on May 31, 2026. The event witnessed the
participation of distinguished personalities from industry, academia,
administration and public life.
Published by Om Books International,
the book presents a compelling collection of 52 insightful reflections,
experiences and life lessons drawn from everyday moments, professional
journeys, faith and leadership. Through its thoughtful narratives, the book
explores how personal fulfilment and professional success are often shaped not
only by major decisions but also by daily habits, enduring values and
meaningful human relationships.
Addressing the gathering, Rajneesh
Jain said, “Our society and our nation have always been guided by a deep
collective consciousness. It is this collective consciousness that helps us
maintain balance in life, between ambition and humility, action and reflection,
success and meaning. If this book can become even a small part of India’s vast
collective consciousness, I would consider my effort truly worthwhile.”
More than a conventional book, Quiet
Excellence aspires to serve as a guide for thoughtful living. Through concise
reflections and personal insights, it encourages readers to pause, introspect
and reassess their approach to work, relationships and life itself from a
renewed perspective.
The publication also carries a message
from Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, along with reflections from several eminent
personalities. Their contributions reinforce the significance of
self-awareness, introspection, ethical values and the pursuit of a balanced and
meaningful life.
The launch ceremony was graced by Dr Deepak Vohra, former IFS officer, diplomat and Ambassador, as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished guests included Naresh Kumar, former Chief Secretary, Government of Delhi; BK Asha Didi of the Brahma Kumaris; CMA TCA Srinivasa Prasad, President of ICMAI; and Mahendra Nahata, Managing Director of HFCL, among others.
Speakers at the event observed that in an increasingly fast-paced and rapidly evolving world, leadership is measured not only by accomplishments but also by empathy, integrity and one’s contribution to society. Through its simple language, relatable experiences and timeless lessons, Quiet Excellence seeks to bring these values closer to readers and inspire a more mindful and purpose-driven approach to life and leadership.
