Ushering in its landmark 30th anniversary year on a high note, India’s No.1 tractor export brand Sonalika Tractors has posted its strongest-ever 10-month sales performance, clocking a record Year-to-Date (YTD) overall sales of 1,51,604 tractors during April 2025–January 2026. Powered by its heavy-duty tractor portfolio equipped with future-ready technologies, Sonalika continues to drive agricultural prosperity across regions, underlining its ability to deliver sustained growth in an evolving agri ecosystem marked by rising mechanisation and increased investments in rural infrastructure. Recently, the company also reaffirmed its brand purpose of delivering ‘Jeetne ka Dum’ through an extensive all-India brand-strengthening programme, reflecting Sonalika’s aggressive growth strategy going forward.

Over just three decades since its inception, Sonalika has transformed from a small-town enterprise into India’s No.1 tractor export brand and the country’s third-largest tractor manufacturer, while also securing the position of the fifth-largest tractor brand globally. Sonalika’s heavy-duty tractors are widely recognised by farmers as long-term growth assets, with the company’s progressive journey anchored in strong fundamentals such as frugal engineering, unmatched manufacturing scale, and an unwavering farmer-first philosophy.

With GST reforms bringing greater predictability and supporting farmer sentiment as well as mechanisation uptake, Sonalika remains fully geared at the world’s largest integrated tractor manufacturing facility to deliver future-ready solutions that help farmers secure their future, while reinforcing agriculture’s pivotal role in India’s economic trajectory.

Commenting on the milestone, Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Limited, said, “We are delighted to have clocked our fastest-ever 1.51 lakh overall tractor sales in just 10 months during April 2025–January 2026, giving us a robust start to our 30th anniversary celebrations in 2026. This achievement reaffirms our core belief that sustainable growth is built on strong fundamentals and clearly reflects the deep trust farmers place in our brand. Every decision we make — from engineering to execution — is firmly anchored in delivering real productivity, reliability, and value on the farmer’s field.

Rabi sowing this season has been excellent, raising expectations of a healthy harvest and enabling farmers to benefit from our fuel-efficient, comfortable, and powerful tractors. The recent budgetary allocations for agriculture and allied sectors reinforce the government’s long-term commitment to on-ground agricultural transformation, while GST reforms are expected to enhance productivity over the long term, boost farmer confidence, and accelerate mechanisation. As India’s economy advances on the pillars of productivity and investment, we remain committed to transforming agriculture with power, scale, and clear intent, supporting farmers with dependable, future-ready technology powered by ‘JeetneKa Dum.’”
