Adani Foundation brings healthcare closer to villages with multi-specialty health camp at Balimunda

Reinforcing its commitment to community welfare, Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of Dhamra Port Company Limited, successfully organised a multi-specialty health camp at Adani Bhavan, Balimunda, providing much-needed healthcare access to residents of nearby villages. The initiative benefitted 312 patients from peripheral areas including Nandapatna, Chenakhia, Charitikira and Dipuora, who received free medical consultations and medicines from a team of experienced specialists.

The camp witnessed the presence of members of Balimunda Gram Panchayat and officials of Adani Foundation, reflecting strong community participation. Specialist doctors from departments such as Medicine, Orthopaedic and Skin examined patients, offered expert medical advice and prescribed appropriate treatment, addressing a wide range of health concerns.

The recently inaugurated Adani Bhavan is emerging as a key hub for community-focused initiatives. Acting as a catalyst for organising health camps and other Gram Panchayat-level programmes, the facility is expected to significantly enhance access to essential services for villagers in the region. The initiative highlights Adani Foundation’s continued focus on improving healthcare accessibility and strengthening community well-being through meaningful and sustainable interventions.
