Under the first phase of the project, 336 households will be
equipped with rooftop solar systems under the Utility-Led Aggregation (ULA)
Model, enabling families to generate clean electricity, reduce their monthly
power bills and contribute to India's growing clean energy mission.
The initiative is expected to enhance energy security at the
household level while accelerating the adoption of renewable energy in the
region. It also supports the Government of India's vision of expanding rooftop
solar capacity and promoting sustainable, low-carbon communities.

households. They noted that wider adoption of rooftop solar would not only
reduce dependence on conventional power sources but also deliver long-term
economic and environmental benefits to consumers.
The programme reflects the shared commitment of Aditya
Aluminium, TPWODL and the district administration to advancing sustainable
development through community-centric initiatives. By promoting affordable
renewable energy at the grassroots, the partnership aims to improve livelihoods
while supporting India's transition towards a cleaner and greener energy
future.
