Birla Global University (BGU) has secured notable recognition in the IIRF India Rankings 2026, published by the International Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF), reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and holistic student development.

The IIRF Rankings evaluate higher education institutions across a range of parameters and categories, including universities, engineering, law, and management institutions. The rankings aim to provide students, parents, educators, and stakeholders with a comprehensive and objective assessment of institutional quality, performance, and academic outcomes.

In the latest edition of the rankings, Birla Global University has been placed 71st among India’s New Age Private Universities (Overall). The university has also secured the 3rd position in Odisha and 9th position in the Eastern Zone, reflecting its growing reputation as one of the country’s emerging private universities.

BGU’s constituent schools also delivered impressive performances in their respective categories. The Birla School of Law (BSoL) ranked 49th among Private Law Institutions and secured the 2nd position in the state. The Birla School of Management (BSoM) was placed 81st among Private B-Schools, achieving a state rank of 6. Meanwhile, the Birla School of Engineering & Technology (BSoET) ranked 53rd among the Best Engineering Colleges within Private Universities, while securing the 10th position in the zone and 4th in the state.

The rankings underscore BGU’s continued focus on academic excellence, industry engagement, research, innovation-driven learning, and student success.
