Reinforcing its century-old legacy of promoting holistic health, Dabur Chyawanprash has launched a nationwide winter immunity awareness campaign aimed at safeguarding children, particularly those from underprivileged communities, against seasonal ailments.

Winter, while being one of India’s most cherished seasons, often brings with it a surge in cold, cough and respiratory infections, largely attributed to weakened immunity and sudden temperature fluctuations. With children being among the most vulnerable to seasonal illnesses, the initiative seeks to educate and empower them with knowledge and preventive practices to build stronger immune systems.

Chyawanprash, a 3,000-year-old Ayurvedic formulation, has long been recognized for its immunity-boosting properties. Dabur Chyawanprash, enriched with potent ‘Rasayana’ herbs, works through immunomodulatory effects to help protect against common day-to-day infections such as coughs and colds. Drawing from this ancient wisdom, Dabur’s latest campaign combines awareness, education and product outreach to promote better health outcomes among children.

The campaign was formally flagged off in Bhubaneswar with a special immunity awareness session conducted for over 250 students of Gyana Mandir School. The interactive session focused on educating children about the importance of building immunity to combat winter-related illnesses. In addition to highlighting the role of Chyawanprash, the programme also emphasized essential hygiene practices and the importance of a balanced, nutritious diet in strengthening the body’s natural defence mechanisms.

Speaking on the occasion, Sriram Padmanabhan, Director–Healthcare, Dabur India Ltd, said, “Dabur Chyawanprash has been committed to helping every Indian achieve the strongest immunity for over 100 years. This initiative is a leap forward towards this commitment. We are concerned about the cold wave that claims so many lives every year. Through this initiative, we will attempt to reach out to underprivileged kids by highlighting the importance of immunity, besides providing Chyawanprash to these children.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Dr. Pandey noted, “During cycles of seasonal change there is a sudden temperature variation, which leads to illnesses like cough, cold and flu. Enhancing immunity is an effective way to fight such illnesses. Dabur Chyawanprash offers an effective solution to boost immunity needs through changing weather cycles.”

Under the campaign, Dabur Chyawanprash has partnered with leading NGOs across 21 cities including Agra, Varanasi, Kanpur, Bhopal, Lucknow, Udaipur, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Siliguri, Patna, Indore, Raipur, Pune, Aurangabad, Hyderabad, Mysore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Gwalior and Chandigarh. Through these collaborations, the company aims to expand its outreach and create widespread awareness about preventive healthcare during the winter months.
