Limited (DPCL) has achieved a significant operational milestone by recording
its highest-ever limestone discharge of 31,700 metric tonnes within 24 hours at
Berth BB-3A from the vessel MV Ocean Changxi on March 9, 2026, setting a new
benchmark in port efficiency and cargo handling.
The achievement
surpasses DPCL’s previous best discharge record of 29,696 metric tonnes in 24
hours, which was registered during the handling of the vessel MV Rixta
Oldendroff for Tata Steel Ltd., marking a notable improvement in the port’s
operational performance.
The cargo handled
during this record-breaking operation belonged to Rashmi Metaliks Limited and
Orissa Metaliks Pvt. Ltd. The milestone underscores DPCL’s unwavering
commitment to operational excellence, reliability, and enhanced productivity in
port logistics.
Officials said the
accomplishment reflects the exceptional coordination and dedication of DPCL’s
ground teams, whose meticulous planning and seamless execution ensured the
safe, efficient, and timely discharge of the cargo. The success was further
