In a significant step towards strengthening investor protection and improving access to financial grievance redressal, the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), functioning under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, will organise a ‘Niveshak Shivir’ in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in Bhubaneswar on March 27, 2026.

The investor outreach programme will be held from 10 AM to 4 PM at Event Square and is designed as a comprehensive facilitation platform aimed at assisting investors in resolving issues related to unclaimed dividends and shares while enabling direct access to investor services and on-ground grievance redressal.

The initiative seeks to provide investors with direct facilitation for the recovery of unclaimed dividends and shares that have remained unclaimed for six to seven years. Participants will also be able to complete on-the-spot KYC updation and nomination-related formalities, along with receiving immediate assistance for pending claim-related issues associated with IEPFA.

The ‘Niveshak Shivir’ model is structured to promote direct, intermediary-free engagement between investors, companies and Registrars and Transfer Agents (RTAs). Dedicated service kiosks will be set up at the venue to enable investors to interact directly with representatives and obtain prompt guidance and resolution for their grievances.

Several stakeholder companies holding substantial unclaimed dividend accounts are expected to participate in the Bhubaneswar event, offering investors an opportunity to directly address concerns and streamline the process of reclaiming their investments.

The Bhubaneswar Shivir forms part of IEPFA’s nationwide investor outreach and awareness programme aimed at strengthening financial literacy, enhancing transparency and simplifying procedures for reclaiming unclaimed financial assets. Through such initiatives, IEPFA continues to advance its mission of building a secure, accessible and investor-centric financial ecosystem across the country while promoting sustained investor education and awareness.
