Jio Financial
Services Ltd on Friday unveiled a suite of new-age financial and digital
payment solutions spanning personal finance, cross-border transactions and
contactless payments as the Global Fintech Fest 2026 concluded here.
Through its customer-facing
subsidiaries and joint ventures, Jio Financial Services showcased
technology-led offerings aimed at helping consumers manage their finances while
enabling merchants and businesses to access faster and more seamless payment
solutions.
Jio Finance Platform
and Service Ltd (JFPSL) introduced JioFinance+ and JioFinance360 on the
JioFinance app. Both offerings are currently available to a closed user group
and are expected to be rolled out to all users in the coming days.
JioFinance+ is a
membership programme offering benefits across eligible financial products
available on the JioFinance marketplace. As an introductory offer, the
membership will be complimentary for the first 365 days.
Under the programme,
customers can receive assured cash valueback of up to Rs 5,000 on personal
loans and up to Rs 1,000 on credit cards, besides an additional 1 per cent
JioGold on lump-sum purchases of Rs 2,500 and above and 25 per cent extra
JioPoints on eligible platform transactions.
JFPSL said
JioFinance+ passes on a portion of the platform commission earned on eligible
marketplace transactions to customers, thereby helping lower transaction costs
for end-users.
JioFinance360,
described by the company as an industry-first proposition, brings together data
from multiple sources covering a customer's assets and liabilities into a
single personalised financial report, which is available at no cost.
The offering combines
Large Language Models (LLMs) to summarise fragmented and complex financial
information with an intelligent rule-based insight engine to provide
personalised and actionable recommendations aimed at improving users' financial
well-being.
At the centre of
JioFinance360 is a personalised Financial Health Score that evaluates a user's
financial fitness across five pillars -- Spending, Borrowing, Wealth,
Protection/Insurance and Tax.
On the payments
front, Jio Payment Solutions Ltd (JPSL) announced the launch of its
cross-border payment solutions to enable Indian exporters to accept
international payments from customers across the world.
In partnership with
Citi for Authorised Dealer Category-1 and export collection account services,
the solutions cover around 50 per cent of India's total export footprint,
including the US, UK, Europe, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, among
other markets.
Following
authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India to operate as a Payment Aggregator
for Cross-Border (PA-CB) transactions, JPSL said its solution offers T+2
settlement without a rolling reserve, along with Foreign Inward Remittance
Advice (FIRA)/eFIRA documentation within the same working day.
JPSL also plans to
introduce RuPay Tap & Pay, allowing customers to make contactless payments
using NFC-enabled smartphones. The functionality is expected to become
available shortly on the JioFinance app.
The solution brings
together JPSL as the payment enabler, JioFinance as the customer application,
RuPay as the payment network and SBI Card as the card issuer. It will initially
support RuPay cards issued by SBI Card.
In another digital
payments initiative, JPSL has partnered with HDFC Bank as the acquiring bank
and the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to roll out point-of-sale
terminals supporting NFC-based contactless UPI payments.
The technology
enables checkout in around two to four seconds through a few simple steps and
works without QR-code scanning or an active mobile data connection. It also
supports PIN-less payments below Rs 5,000 and has already been rolled out
across Reliance Retail stores.
JPSL also showcased a
conversational merchant onboarding journey that customises pricing packages
based on a business's profile. The offering includes a built-in "Deal
Negotiator" with human-in-the-loop support to facilitate customised rate
negotiations.
"As we cap off a
successful showcase at Global Fintech Fest 2026, our launches reflect what Jio
Financial Services is all about -- building the future of finance through
smart, intelligent and personalised solutions," Hitesh Sethia, Managing
Director and Chief Executive Officer, Jio Financial Services Ltd, said.
"From empowering
individuals to better understand and manage their finances, to enabling
seamless payments and supporting businesses in an increasingly connected world,
we are leveraging technology to address diverse financial needs," he said.
Sethia said the
company's focus remained on enhancing the holistic financial well-being of
people in India through technology.
