Reliance Industries
Limited has announced a significant development in the proposed initial public
offering (IPO) of its subsidiary, Jio Platforms Limited (JPL), with the IPO
Committee of JPL’s Board of Directors approving the price band, employee
discount and minimum bid lot for the public issue.
In a regulatory filing
on October 14, 2026, Reliance Industries informed BSE Limited and the National
Stock Exchange of India Limited that the IPO Committee had approved the key
offer parameters at its meeting held on the same day. The announcement follows
an earlier disclosure concerning the filing of the Red Herring Prospectus (RHP)
by Jio Platforms Limited.
Under the approved
terms, the price band for the proposed Jio Platforms IPO has been set at ₹1,065 per equity share at the lower
end and ₹1,119 per equity share at the upper end.
The price band
establishes the range within which investors can place their bids for the
offering, subject to the final offer terms and applicable procedures.
The IPO has attracted
attention because of Jio Platforms’ position within Reliance Industries’
broader digital and telecommunications business. The approval of the price band
provides a key reference point for prospective investors assessing the proposed
offering.
In a move aimed at
facilitating participation by eligible employees, the company has approved an
employee discount of ₹54
per equity share for eligible employees bidding under the Employee Reservation
Portion.
The minimum bid lot
for the proposed IPO has been fixed at 12 equity shares, each having a face
value of ₹10.
Investors will be required to bid for a minimum of 12 shares and may place bids
in multiples of 12 shares thereafter, in accordance with the approved bid-lot
structure.
Based on the announced price band, the indicative application amount for one minimum lot would be ₹12,780 at the floor price of ₹1,065 per share and ₹13,428 at the cap price of ₹1,119 per share, before considering any applicable employee discount, where eligible, and subject to the final terms of the offer.
Copies of the communication were also marked to the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and Singapore Exchange Limited.
