 In a move that could redefine affordable mobile entertainment in India, Reliance Jio has launched the ₹55 JioTV Pro Pack, a new 30-day entertainment subscription that brings more than 1,000 live television channels to smartphones through the JioTV mobile application.

Targeted at consumers seeking premium television content at a budget-friendly price, the new offering significantly lowers the cost of accessing live TV, making digital entertainment more accessible across urban and rural markets.

The newly introduced pack offers an extensive selection of channels spanning 16-plus languages, including over 150 premium channels across multiple genres such as entertainment, movies, news, lifestyle, children's programming and regional content. Subscribers can watch leading channels including StarPlus HD, Colors HD, Sony Entertainment Television HD, Sony SAB HD, Discovery, Animal Planet, along with popular regional networks from Sun TV Network and ETV.

The JioTV Pro Pack aggregates premium content from some of India's biggest broadcasting networks, including JioStar, Sony Entertainment, Sun TV Network, Warner Bros. Discovery, and ETV, creating a comprehensive entertainment platform for viewers across different languages and content preferences.

However, the company clarified that sports channels from JioStar and Sony are not included in the ₹55 entertainment package.

Jio has designed the service for quick and hassle-free activation. Customers simply need to recharge with the ₹55 pack, open the JioTV mobile app, log in using their registered Jio mobile number, and begin streaming immediately. No additional activation process is required, with premium channels becoming available as soon as the recharge is successfully completed.

The ₹55 JioTV Pro Pack is a standalone entertainment offering and does not include voice calling, SMS or data benefits. To access the service, users must have an active Jio prepaid or postpaid mobile connection.

The subscription supports streaming on one mobile device through the JioTV application and is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers. Users can also recharge multiple packs in advance, with each subscription automatically activating after the previous 30-day validity expires.

The ₹55 JioTV Pro Pack is now available through both online and offline Jio recharge channels, enabling customers across the country to subscribe with ease.
