Jio solidifies No. 1 position in Odisha in Odisha with highest addition of over 2.59 lakh subscribers in March: TRAI Data

Reinforcing its position as Odisha's leading digital service provider, Reliance Jio added the highest number of new mobile and home broadband subscribers in the state during March 2026, according to the latest telecom subscription data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

Jio added more than 2.59 lakh new subscribers in Odisha during the month, including over 2.4 lakh mobile subscribers and more than 19,000 home broadband subscribers. Overall, Odisha's mobile subscriber base grew by over 4 lakh in March, taking the state's total mobile subscriber base to 3.81 crore.

Further strengthening its dominance in the home broadband segment, Jio added more than 4.5 times the number of new subscribers compared to its nearest competitor, Airtel, driven by the growing popularity of JioFiber and JioAirFiber across the state.

With these additions, Jio has further consolidated its leadership across all three key segments — wireless, wireline, and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) — in Odisha. The company now serves 1.78 crore mobile subscribers, 3.71 lakh JioFiber subscribers, and 3.77 lakh JioAirFiber subscribers in the state.

Jio continues to play a pivotal role in accelerating digital inclusion across Odisha, particularly in rural and remote areas, by bringing high-speed broadband connectivity to thousands of villages and underserved communities.

At the national level, Jio maintained its growth momentum in March, adding over 32 lakh new mobile subscribers, 1.88 lakh wireline subscribers, and more than 4.41 lakh FWA subscribers, according to TRAI data.
