MUMBAI, AUGUST 17, 2026
JioBlackRock Asset Management on Monday announced the launch
of Regular Plans across its eligible mutual fund schemes, effective August 17,
a move that will widen investor access to its offerings and deepen the asset
manager’s engagement with India’s rapidly expanding mutual fund distribution
network.
The 50:50 joint venture between Jio Financial Services
Limited and BlackRock said the introduction of Regular Plans will give
investors the option of accessing its investment products through registered
mutual fund distributors, complementing its existing digital investment
channels.
The move marks a significant step in JioBlackRock Asset
Management’s efforts to build a broader distribution footprint while combining
its digital-first approach with the reach and advisory capabilities of India’s
mutual fund distributor ecosystem.
Since commencing its mutual fund business, the asset manager
has focused on offering a seamless digital investing experience. With Regular
Plans, it will now expand its engagement with distributors, providing investors
greater flexibility in how they access and invest in its mutual fund schemes.
Sid Swaminathan, Managing Director & Chief Executive

investor appetite for differentiated investment solutions. As we continue to
expand our offering, we are strengthening our partnerships with distributors,
complementing our existing channels and helping more investors access our
solutions.

broadening access to our solutions, giving investors greater choice in how they
invest while enabling us to partner more closely with India’s vibrant
distribution ecosystem.”
Rajiv Chhabria, Chief Business Officer, JioBlackRock Asset
Management, said: “India’s mutual fund industry is entering a new phase of
growth, driven by increasing investor awareness, rising participation and
deeper penetration across cities and towns. Distributors remain at the centre
of this evolution, helping bring investing to new audiences across the country.
Through the introduction of Regular Plans, we look forward to building
meaningful and long-term partnerships with distributors, while making our
investment solutions accessible to a broader set of investors.”
Regular Plans will be available across eligible JioBlackRock
mutual fund schemes from August 17, 2026, in accordance with applicable
regulatory requirements. Investors can access these plans through empanelled
mutual fund distributors.
The company said mutual fund distributors can now complete
their empanelment digitally through JioBlackRock’s dedicated online portal,
enabling a faster and more streamlined onboarding process.
The expansion of distribution channels comes as India’s mutual fund industry continues to witness broader participation, with distributors playing a key role in extending investment products beyond established financial centres to investors across cities and towns.
For JioBlackRock Asset Management, the launch of Regular Plans also reinforces its broader strategy of combining BlackRock’s global investment expertise and technology capabilities with Jio’s digital reach and customer-centric approach to build an accessible and investor-focused asset management business in India.
