founder of the O.P. Jindal Group, Om Prakash Jindal, fondly remembered as
Bauji, on his Punyatithi. The
observance reflected profound respect for his visionary leadership and the

Memorial services
were held simultaneously across key operational locations including the Barbil
office, Narayanposhi Mines, Nuagaon Mines, Ganua Mines, and the Bhubaneswar
office. The day witnessed heartfelt tributes and collective remembrance of
Bauji’s pioneering contributions to India’s steel sector and his unwavering
commitment to nation-building.
At the Barbil office,
senior dignitaries including Prasanna Panda, Business Head of JSW Steel’s
Odisha Mining Division, Chittaranjan Bahanipati, HR Head, and Ram Shankar
Sharma, Head of Operations & Projects, joined employees in offering floral
tributes. The gathering reflected on Bauji’s inspiring journey, his visionary
approach to industrial growth, and his emphasis on ethics, innovation, and
inclusive development.
Similar commemorative
programmes were organised at Narayanposhi, Nuagaon, and Ganua Mines, as well as
the Bhubaneswar office, where employees united in paying homage to the iconic
industrialist whose ideals continue to guide the organisation’s progress.
The observance
