Limited (NINL) on Monday dedicated a newly constructed Aanganwadi Kendra to the
residents of Kantipur village under Ollala Gram Panchayat in Danagadi block,
reaffirming its commitment to community development and early childhood
education in the region.
The newly built
facility was inaugurated by Padmapal, Managing Director and Chief Executive
Officer of NINL, in the presence of Laxmipriya Jena, Sarpanch of Ollala Gram
Panchayat; Animesh Samanta, Chief Human Resources Officer, NINL; Debanjan
Mukherjee, Head, Kalinganagar Impact Cluster, Tata Steel Foundation; along with
local community members and senior officials of NINL and the Tata Steel
Foundation.
Designed to provide a safe, child-friendly and conducive learning environment, the Aanganwadi Kendra is equipped with a spacious main hall, a kitchen, a dedicated storeroom and toilet facilities. The centre is expected to enhance early childhood care and education services for children in the village while supporting the overall well-being of the local community.
To mark the occasion, the dignitaries also distributed study materials to the children, adding to the celebrations and reinforcing NINL's commitment to promoting education and inclusive community development.
