Reinforcing its commitment to digital convenience and timely bill
payments, TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture
between Tata Power and the Odisha Government, has selected 500 consumers as
winners under its ‘Bill Pay & Win’ initiative.
The scheme rewards customers who maintain zero arrears and consistently
pay their electricity bills on time through digital platforms, promoting a
culture of financial discipline and hassle-free transactions. The winners were
chosen on February 14 from the July–December 2025 billing cycle across six
consumer categories. The selection event was held at TPCODL’s MDC in
Bhubaneswar, where 15 senior citizens participated, underscoring growing
digital inclusion among all age groups.
Customers highlighted the ease of digital payments, particularly the use
of QR codes and UPI, along with the added rebate for opting out of physical
bills. Many consumers said they now use online payments not only for individual
connections but also for society meters, reflecting wider acceptance of
cashless services.
TPCODL CEO Arvind Singh said, “At TPCODL, we are committed to enhancing
customer convenience and building lasting relationships. The ‘Bill Pay &
Win’ scheme not only promotes timely bill payments and digital transactions but
also recognizes and rewards our responsible customers in a transparent and
engaging manner.”
With the Mega Bill Pay & Win Scheme for January–March 2026 already
underway, the utility is offering another opportunity for customers to earn
prizes and cashbacks. The company has also intensified its digital payment
campaign under the theme ‘No Line, Just Online’, signalling a stronger push
toward seamless, customer-friendly and queue-free bill payment systems across
its distribution area.
