With the Tricolour illuminating homes, landmarks and hearts alike, NTPC Bongaigaon joined the nation in celebrating the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga, turning its township into a vibrant canvas of patriotism, unity and national pride ahead of Independence Day.

The township came alive with colourful decorations, beautifully illuminated landmarks and creatively designed selfie points, each echoing the colours of the national flag and capturing the collective emotions of a nation united in its love for the country.

The celebrations witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees and their families, young students, interns, associates and CISF personnel, who came together to honour the spirit of Independence Day. The atmosphere was charged with joy and patriotic fervour, with children carrying messages of unity and freedom and symbolising the deep affection and respect for the nation.

The event was graced by Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, in the presence of Anurag Gupta, GM (O&M), NTPC Bongaigaon, and L. N. Meitei, Commandant, CISF. The dignitaries joined children from Notre Dame and Ankur Tiny Tots, along with employees, associates, interns and CISF personnel, in celebrating the national spirit and reinforcing the message of collective responsibility.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries appreciated the enthusiastic participation of all stakeholders and underscored the importance of instilling patriotism and a strong sense of national responsibility among the younger generation. They emphasised that the Tiranga is more than a national flag—it embodies the unity, sacrifices and aspirations of the country and serves as a reminder of every citizen's responsibility towards nation-building.
