The Northern Region
Headquarters of NTPC in Lucknow celebrated the annual Bada Mangal festival on Tuesday,
with deep spiritual fervour and enthusiastic participation from employees and
their families. The event was organised by the Employee Welfare Association –
Abhyuday Club, NRHQ.
The programme was
graced by Diwakar Kaushik, Regional Executive Director (North), as the Chief
Guest. S. N. Panigrahi, CGM (HR), Heads of Departments, senior officials, Vipul
Srivastava, President of Abhyuday Club, Jitendra Malhotra, Secretary of
Abhyuday Club, committee members, employees and their family members were also
present in large numbers, adding to the festive spirit of the occasion.
Highlighting the
essence of service and togetherness associated with the festival, a massive prasadam distribution drive was
organised under the leadership of the RED (North) and CGM (HR). Nearly 4,000
devotees were served prasadam till
late evening with active and enthusiastic support from employees and their
family members.
The celebration
reflected the strong spirit of unity, devotion and social commitment that
continues to be nurtured within the NTPC family through such cultural and
community-oriented initiatives.
