NTPC NRHQ's ‘Medha Pratiyogita 2026’ sparks spirit of learning across northern region

Demonstrating its commitment to nurturing knowledge, curiosity, and excellence, NTPC Northern Region Headquarters (NRHQ), Lucknow, successfully conducted the Preliminary Round of the Annual Medha Pratiyogita 2026, drawing enthusiastic participation from employees and their family members.

A total of 24 participants, forming 12 teams, took part in the written quiz competition, which tested their knowledge, analytical ability, and teamwork. The contest was organised across four categories — Junior (Classes IV–VI), Middle (Classes VII–IX), Senior (Classes X–XII), and Employees & Spouses — providing participants with a vibrant platform to showcase their intellect while encouraging healthy competition and collaborative learning.

The Preliminary Round was conducted simultaneously across NTPC Northern Region projects, including Vindhyachal, Singrauli, Rihand, Unchahar, Meja, Auraiya, Dadri, Faridabad, and Jhajjar, reflecting NTPC's continued commitment to fostering knowledge-sharing and a culture of continuous learning across the region.

The successful conduct of the competition once again highlights NTPC's focus on promoting intellectual growth and creating opportunities that inspire employees and their families to pursue excellence through learning.
