OPPO India on Monday launched its much-anticipated F33 Series in India, introducing the OPPO F33 Pro 5G and OPPO F33 5G, in what the company calls the most significant upgrade to its popular F line yet.

Blending durability with advanced imaging, the new lineup features a segment-leading 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera, IP69K-rated toughness, a massive 7000mAh battery, and the latest ColorOS 16 platform alongside enhanced 5G++ connectivity.

Highlighting the innovation at a press meet in Bhubaneswar today, Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications at OPPO India, said the F33 Series strengthens the brand’s “Durable Champion” legacy while redefining expectations around smartphone photography. He emphasized that users no longer need to compromise between ruggedness and high-quality imaging, noting that the device is engineered to perform equally well in demanding environments and social settings.

At the core of the F33 Series is its standout 50MP Ultra-Wide Front Camera with a 100° field of view — the widest in its segment — designed to capture more faces and context in a single frame. Equipped with electronic image stabilisation (EIS), autofocus, and advanced sensor technology, the camera delivers up to 30% more coverage compared to previous models.

The F33 Pro 5G further enhances the experience with AI-powered features such as “AI GroupfieExpert,” which automatically adjusts the frame when multiple faces are detected, ensuring seamless group shots. A built-in face distortion correction algorithm maintains natural proportions across the frame, even at ultra-wide angles.

Adding to the photography suite is a multi-colour front fill light that replaces harsh flashes with softer, skin-tone-friendly illumination, significantly improving low-light selfies.

The OPPO F33 Pro 5G will be available starting April 23, 2026, across offline retail outlets, the OPPO E-Store, Flipkart, and Amazon, while the OPPO F33 5G will go on sale from April 29. The company is offering a range of launch benefits, including cashback offers, exchange bonuses, no-cost EMI options, and 180 days of complimentary protection covering accidental and liquid damage.
