Paradip
Port Authority (PPA) solemnly observed Ambedkar Jayanti by offering floral
tributes at the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Ambedkar Park,
Paradip.
The
occasion was held to honour Dr. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian
Constitution and a towering champion of social justice and equality. His
invaluable contributions to nation-building and the empowerment of all sections
of society were remembered with deep reverence.
The
programme was attended by PPA Chairman P.L. Haranadh, Deputy Chairman T. Venu
Gopal, and Padma Charan Haiburu, MLA of Karanjia, along with Heads of
Departments, senior officers, and employees of the authority. The gathering
paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy and reiterated his vision of an
equitable and inclusive society.
Dhuna
Chandra Tarai, General Secretary of the PPT SC/ST Welfare Association, and Gangadhar
Sethi, along with other members of the association, were also present on the
occasion.
The
event concluded with floral tributes and a collective reaffirmation of Dr.
Ambedkar’s ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
