In a significant step
towards strengthening citizen-centric governance and administrative accountability,
Paradip Port Authority on Monday formally adopted the “Seva Sankalp Resolution”
in line with Office Memorandum No. 1/3/1/2026-Cab. dated February 25, 2026
issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India.
The meeting was led
by Chairman P. L. Haranadh and attended by Deputy Chairman T. Venu Gopal, Heads
of Departments (HODs), officers and employees of the Paradip Port Authority.
The Resolution was read out in the gathering, reaffirming the collective
resolve to align the functioning of the Port with its guiding principles.
The Resolution
underscores the philosophy of “Nagarik Devo Bhava”, emphasizing that governance
must be rooted in service, dignity, transparency and accountability towards
every citizen. Participants reiterated their commitment to ensuring that all
administrative decisions and service delivery mechanisms remain
citizen-centric, responsive and efficient.
Addressing the
gathering, Chairman P. L. Haranadh highlighted that the spirit of ‘Seva Teerth’
symbolizes a renewed governance culture driven by dedication, ethical conduct
and responsibility. He stressed that achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047
requires sustained efforts, institutional integrity and continuous reforms in
operational and administrative practices.
It was resolved that the core principles of the “Seva Sankalp Resolution” would be embedded across departmental functions through enhanced digitalisation, streamlined procedures, timely service delivery and effective grievance redressal systems.
Paradip Port Authority remains steadfast in upholding the spirit of “Nagarik Devo Bhava” and continues to contribute actively towards nation-building and the realization of a Developed India by 2047.
