Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the
FMCG arm of Reliance Industries Limited, has acquired Southern Health Foods
Private Limited, a leading health foods company based in Tamil Nadu.
Represented by its flagship brand Manna, Southern Health Foods has been a
prominent manufacturer of a wide range of nutritious food products for over two
decades, earning strong consumer trust in the southern markets.
The
addition of Manna significantly strengthens RCPL’s foods and staples portfolio,
which already includes well-known brands such as Udhaiyam, Independence and
SiL. This acquisition enables RCPL to build a robust business vertical in the
fast-growing millet-based foods segment, while reinforcing its long-term focus
on health and wellness. It also reiterates RCPL’s commitment to its core
philosophy of offering “global quality at affordable price” to millions of
consumers across India, alongside its ambition to establish a strong national
presence in the health foods space.
