Reliance
Retail has acquired global actor-entrepreneur Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s clean
haircare brand Anomaly, marking a significant expansion of its rapidly growing
beauty and personal care portfolio.
The
acquisition includes Anomaly’s trademarks, brand assets, and digital
properties, bringing the brand fully under Reliance Retail’s umbrella. The move
underscores the retail giant’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the
high-growth beauty segment while scaling globally relevant consumer brands
across India and international markets.
Founded
by Priyanka Chopra Jonas in 2021, Anomaly has quickly emerged as a premium yet
accessible haircare brand, known for its clean, vegan, and high-performance
formulations. The brand has already built a strong international footprint
across several key global markets.
With
full ownership of Anomaly’s intellectual property and digital ecosystem,
Reliance Retail plans to leverage its extensive retail network and omnichannel
platforms, including Tira, to accelerate the brand’s growth and expand its
consumer reach.

will be a priority market for Anomaly under Reliance Retail’s stewardship, with
a sharp focus on developing products tailored to Indian hair and scalp needs.
The company also plans to deepen Anomaly’s international presence across North
America, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East.
Priyanka
Chopra Jonas will continue to play a pivotal role in the brand’s journey as
Creative Director, overseeing innovation, brand vision, and product
development.
