Amid the vibrant celebrations of the ongoing world-famous Rath Yatra, the solar awareness stall set up by TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, near the Gundicha Temple in Puri has emerged as a major attraction, drawing thousands of devotees and visitors eager to explore clean energy solutions and consumer-focused electricity services.

The stall is generating widespread awareness about the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, educating visitors on the advantages of rooftop solar systems, government subsidies and the hassle-free application process. In addition, TPCODL officials are informing consumers about the convenience of digital bill payments, the discounts and incentives available through digital transactions, the benefits of smart meters and the importance of electrical safety for ensuring safe, smart and efficient power usage.

Through this initiative, TPCODL is strengthening public engagement by promoting renewable energy adoption, encouraging the use of digital electricity services and spreading awareness about safe electricity practices. The initiative reflects the company's commitment to supporting India's vision of a clean, affordable and sustainable energy future while connecting with citizens during one of the country's largest religious congregations.
