Sonalika Tractors on
Wednesday reported its highest-ever August overall sales of 12,581 tractors,
growing 1.9 times faster than the overall industry in August 2026, as the
company gears up to meet heightened demand during the upcoming festive season.
The company, which
describes itself as India's No. 1 tractor export brand, also achieved its
highest-ever monthly production of 18,067 tractors at its manufacturing
facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, marking another major milestone in its 30th
anniversary year.
The twin achievements
highlight the company's integrated manufacturing and market ecosystem, with
production capacity, product strength and market responsiveness working in
tandem to cater to diverse requirements of Indian farmers.
"From the
factory floor to farms across India, our manufacturing muscle, product strength
and market agility are operating in perfect sync," International Tractors
Ltd Joint Managing Director Raman Mittal said.
"We are excited
to have delivered our best-ever August overall sales of 12,581 tractors,
surpassing industry growth by 1.9X in Aug'26. Simultaneously, we have also
achieved our highest-ever monthly production record of 18,067 tractors that
demonstrates the depth of our alignment which we have built across our value
chain," Mittal added.
The company said its
sales momentum has been supported by its Dumdaar tractor portfolio, led by the
new Gold Series tractors.
Sonalika said its
vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities give it greater control over
quality while enabling it to develop customised, technology-driven tractors to
address varying market requirements across applications and regions.
With the festive
season expected to provide further impetus to tractor demand, the company said
its dealership network is prepared to cater to farmers across the country.
Sonalika has also launched its annual festive campaign, 'Heavy Duty Dumdaar Dhamaka', offering a range of opportunities for farmers looking to purchase its tractors.
