Sonalika Tractors on Wednesday reported its highest-ever August overall sales of 12,581 tractors, growing 1.9 times faster than the overall industry in August 2026, as the company gears up to meet heightened demand during the upcoming festive season.

The company, which describes itself as India's No. 1 tractor export brand, also achieved its highest-ever monthly production of 18,067 tractors at its manufacturing facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, marking another major milestone in its 30th anniversary year.

The twin achievements highlight the company's integrated manufacturing and market ecosystem, with production capacity, product strength and market responsiveness working in tandem to cater to diverse requirements of Indian farmers.

"From the factory floor to farms across India, our manufacturing muscle, product strength and market agility are operating in perfect sync," International Tractors Ltd Joint Managing Director Raman Mittal said.

"We are excited to have delivered our best-ever August overall sales of 12,581 tractors, surpassing industry growth by 1.9X in Aug'26. Simultaneously, we have also achieved our highest-ever monthly production record of 18,067 tractors that demonstrates the depth of our alignment which we have built across our value chain," Mittal added.

The company said its sales momentum has been supported by its Dumdaar tractor portfolio, led by the new Gold Series tractors.

Sonalika said its vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities give it greater control over quality while enabling it to develop customised, technology-driven tractors to address varying market requirements across applications and regions.

With the festive season expected to provide further impetus to tractor demand, the company said its dealership network is prepared to cater to farmers across the country.

Sonalika has also launched its annual festive campaign, 'Heavy Duty Dumdaar Dhamaka', offering a range of opportunities for farmers looking to purchase its tractors.

"With the festive months ahead, we are firing on all cylinders - fully charged to fulfil every farmer's aspirations with our new Gold series tractors and translate the vibrant festive season into greater farmer prosperity," Mittal said.
