(TPCODL) has achieved a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new
Electrical Sub-Store at Kendrapara, reinforcing its commitment to ensuring
reliable and efficient power supply across its operational areas.
The facility was inaugurated by Dushyant
Kumar Tyagi, Chief Operating Officer (COO), in the presence of senior officials
and employees. The ceremony commenced with the ribbon-cutting, followed by the
unveiling of the inauguration plaque, formally dedicating the sub-store to
service.
Strategically established to
strengthen the power distribution network in the Paradeep Circle, the
Kendrapara Electrical Sub-Store is expected to play a crucial role during
emergency situations such as cyclones, storms and Kalabaisakhi by enabling
faster restoration of power supply. With the capability to mobilize and replace
50–60 transformers within a short span of time, the facility will significantly
reduce outage duration and enhance response efficiency during natural calamities.
The new sub-store is set to improve
operational efficiency, streamline material management and facilitate quicker
resolution of electricity-related issues for consumers in the region. Thousands
of consumers are expected to benefit from improved service reliability and
reduced downtime.
The initiative reflects TPCODL’s
continued focus on strengthening infrastructure and its commitment to
delivering uninterrupted and high-quality power supply. The successful
commissioning of the Kendrapara sub-store stands as a testament to the
organisation’s dedication, teamwork and vision of operational excellence and
customer-centric service delivery.
