Taking the clean-energy push to the grassroots, TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) on Tuesday flagged off its ‘Solar Rath’ from the Office of the District Collector here, with the mobile awareness campaign set to traverse villages across Anugola district to encourage households to embrace rooftop solar under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.

The campaign, flagged off by Abdaal M. Akhtar, Collector, Anugola, in the presence of senior TPCODL officials, will cover Model Solar Villages and other villages in the district, educating consumers about the benefits of solar energy, rooftop solar systems for households, government subsidies and the installation process.
