TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited
(TPCODL) has significantly bolstered power infrastructure in Bhubaneswar,
enhancing electricity reliability for more than 12,000 consumers across several
key areas of the city.
As part of its ongoing efforts to
modernise the distribution network, TPCODL has commissioned two Ring Main Units
(RMUs) at Gothapatna Power Substation and Nuagaon Chowk, along with a 4-km
underground cable network. The upgraded infrastructure is set to benefit around
12,000 consumers in Kantabada, Gothapatna, Bharatpur and adjoining areas by
ensuring improved supply reliability, faster fault isolation, reduced outages
and enhanced voltage stability.
In another major initiative, the
company has commissioned a 63 kVA Distribution Substation Structure at
Palashpur under the Mukhya Mantri Shakti Bikash Yojana. The project will
provide improved and dependable power supply to around 400 consumers in
Palashpur village and Uttara in Bhubaneswar.
These strategic interventions
underscore TPCODL's unwavering commitment to delivering safe, reliable and
high-quality electricity to its consumers while strengthening the region's
power distribution network.
