In a significant step
towards enhancing urban power infrastructure, TP Central Odisha Distribution
Limited (TPCODL) has commissioned a 25 MVA Power Transformer at the Bharatpur
Power Substation (PSS) under its BCDD2 Division, bringing improved electricity
reliability and voltage stability to more than 8,000 consumers across Bharatpur,
Kalinga Nagar, and Khandagiri.
The infrastructure
upgrade is expected to address growing power demand in these rapidly developing
localities while ensuring consistent and quality electricity supply.
In a parallel
development, the discom has also installed a 250 kVA Distribution Transformer
at Khandual Basti, extending enhanced power support to around 350 consumers in
Khandual Basti and the GA Plot area.
With these strategic
interventions, TPCODL continues to reinforce its commitment to strengthening
distribution networks and delivering dependable, high-quality power to
households and businesses across the region, supporting both urban growth and
consumer satisfaction.
