Reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence, transparency and superior consumer services, TP North Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) successfully convened its Business Associate Meet 2025–26 alongside an Industrial Consumer Meet, creating a robust platform for dialogue, performance recognition and collaborative improvement. The twin engagements underscored the utility’s focused approach toward strengthening stakeholder partnerships while driving service quality across its distribution network.

The Business Associate Meet held in Balasore witnessed an enthusiastic participation of more than 180 business associates and nearly 300 associate employees, reflecting the scale and depth of TPNODL’s operational ecosystem. Deliberations during the session centred on reinforcing workplace and field safety protocols, ensuring strict legal and regulatory compliance, upholding ethical business conduct and maintaining rigorous quality benchmarks. A strong emphasis was laid on embedding a consumer-centric mindset across all operational and service delivery functions, with leadership reiterating that sustained excellence must be built on accountability, safety and responsiveness.

In recognition of outstanding contributions, thirty-five business associates were honoured for their exceptional performance during 2025–26, highlighting TPNODL’s culture of performance-driven engagement and motivation. A thoughtfully curated street play on safety awareness added an impactful dimension to the programme, sensitizing participants to the importance of safe work practices in power distribution operations. The event also featured an open interaction forum where associates candidly shared field-level challenges, operational concerns and practical suggestions. The leadership panel responded with detailed clarifications and actionable assurances, reinforcing mutual trust, transparency and a shared commitment to improving consumer experience and service reliability.

The Industrial Consumer Meet held in Jajpur brought together more than 80 leading industrial organizations, focusing on strengthening engagement with HT and EHT consumers and further enhancing service delivery mechanisms. Industrial stakeholders acknowledged TPNODL’s sustained efforts in improving power reliability, supply quality and responsiveness, while also offering constructive feedback on infrastructure augmentation, load management and technology-driven customer service innovations. The interactive format enabled a forward-looking discussion on aligning distribution capabilities with the evolving energy demands of the industrial sector in North Odisha.

Senior leadership presence at both forums reflected the strategic importance attached to stakeholder engagement. Among those present were Gajanan S. Kale, Chief – Odisha Distribution Business and CEO, TPNODL; Sunil Kumar Sharma, CEO, TPADL; Joydeep Roy, Chief – Commercial Services and Business Excellence; Vipin Chauhan, Chief – Contracts and Material Management; and Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, Chief – Projects, along with Superintending Engineers, Executive Engineers and other senior officials of TPNODL.
